In Memoriam – 2021 Q1

Clem Woods passed away Saturday evening, May 2, 2020. He played tennis at Washoe/Reno Tennis Club at least until he was 93 and he often came by after he stopped playing just to say hello to everyone.

Former RTC member Maurice Shabazz passed away on December 20, 2019 at the age of 84.

George Clary passed away unexpectedly in February 2021. George was a kind and generous fellow tennis lover who played at Washoe courts for many years. He will be missed.

Former RTC member Kenny Sypkens also passed away, but no further details are available.
