Another Recycle Milestone Reached

The Washoe Tennis Club has received another Green Ball Award from RecycleBalls, the company we have been recycling tennis balls with since 2017! Thank you to James Williams for keeping this thankless job going and reaching the 30,000-ball milestone!

James gathers up the used tennis balls around the courts and ships to RecycleBalls in Vermont, where the organization grinds up the rubber to make tennis courts, Equestrian and playground turf, as well as as rubber surfacing and sidewalks.  The club pays $600 per year for the recycling, so we thank members for making an additional donation towards our recycling project.
