WTC Membership Rate Increase
The WTC membership year spans the beginning of March through the end of February, which means it is now time to renew memberships. As prices of everything have skyrocketed in recent years with unprecedented inflation, a rate increase in membership fees is necessary. Our club resurfaces two courts each year, which cost around $18,000 just last year. Today, this cost has risen to $30,000, a 67% increase.
Below is a summary of rate changes:

Some might be surprised at the cost of some of the supplies the club goes through each year. Examples:
- In 2019, roller covers were $24 each, and now they are $75. We used to get the whole roller and cover together for $46.
- In 2021, on-court benches were $175, and now they are $275.
- In 2021, nets were $188, and now they are $245.
- In 2020, windscreens were $363 each, and in 2024 their price was already up to $513, and these prices don’t even include shipping, a cost that has also gone up dramatically these past few years.
We continue to put your membership dues to good use, as our overhead or administrative expense ratio is close to zero! Our primary administrative expenses each year are credit card fees and annual business insurance.
